It's been 1.5 months since we got our Japanese Spitz puppy and she has been an absolute joy. Much thanks to Yvonne for answering all our questions and being so helpful in sharing information on caring for our little pup. She had a clean bill of health and came home healthy, energetic and quite well adjusted. After purchasing this little one, we still keep in touch with Yvonne and are grateful for the after sales support indeed. :)Posted on Google![]()

Amazing experience with Pretty Pets Kennel!! Special shoutout to Branden who took the effort and patience to explain to us about the cavapoo. Really love at first sight. Initially wanted to have a second thought but with the professional explanation. It left us with only 1 choice. Guess what? We got a new family member now…☺️🎊🎉Posted on Google![]()

I got my family’s dream dog, a Papillion-Japanese spitz mix at Pretty Pet’s Kennel! I’m very grateful to Yvonne who introduced me to the designer mix dog. According to Google, it has better tolerance with Singapore’s humid heat vs Pomsky (or pure Japanese spitz). Pretty Pets Kennel designer mixes can be rare and have high visibility, so it’s important to secure them quickly if you really desire them. I’m lucky Yvonne kept me up to date on the sale this litter. ❤️ After I brought him back, Yvonne checked in daily for about 3 days to make sure the puppy was settling well and I was doing all the right things. I’m lucky that he is about 50% toilet trained from the moment I brought him in. Perhaps it’s also part of Pretty Pets structure that he is partly toilet trained. They also ethically check on some viruses before they release the pup.Posted on Google![]()

We’ve had such a lovely experience with them, from the very first time we met Yvonne to even after Pebbles came home. We actually chanced upon this place quite randomly and very much on a whim. Our boy had very recently left us, and at the time we were simply looking around — not even specifically for another puppy. Yvonne was extremely warm and took the time to get to know us. When she found out that we had previously had a Japanese Spitz, she asked if we would like to have a look at the puppies. I don’t think we need to say much more after that. ❤️ Our puppy girl came home with us the following week. What really impressed us was seeing how well the furkids/babies were cared for. We know that, unfortunately, the conditions in these situations are not always ideal, so it was reassuring to see the care and attention given to the puppies. We were even able to interact with our puppy’s birth parents, which was something really special for us. The aftercare has been just as lovely. Yvonne continues to check in with us and follows up to make sure everything is alright, and she has always been there when we have questions or concerns. We really appreciate that the care didn’t simply stop once our puppy went home. There is probably never a “right” time to welcome another furkid after losing one. We certainly weren’t looking to replace our boy, and we know our hearts weren’t really prepared for another puppy so soon. But we are incredibly grateful for that one simple question that led us to meet our little puppy girl. Thank you, Yvonne, for bringing our little puppy girl into our lives. ❤️🐾Posted on Google![]()

Jared has been extremely helpful and caring from the very beginning when we welcomed our Pomeranian, Kai, into our family. Although I have had dogs before, having a puppy is a new experience for our children, and there were many things for us to learn and adjust to together. Jared really went above and beyond. He even created a group chat to keep in touch with us, follow up on Kai’s daily progress, and make sure we were doing well and taking good care of him. Whenever we had questions or were unsure about something, he was always patient, responsive and ready to guide us. What we appreciate most is that his care didn’t stop after we brought Kai home. You can really feel that he genuinely cares about the puppies and wants them to settle happily into their new families. Thank you, Jared, for all your help, patience and care. You made welcoming Kai into our family such a smooth and reassuring experience. 🩵🐶 Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. With proper training and socialisation, doxiepoos can make great family pets, providing love, companionship, and joy to their owners.
Doxiepoos are known for their friendly, outgoing, and affectionate personalities, making them a great choice for families with children or for individuals who want a loyal companion. They are also very cuddly, often seeking close physical contact and enjoying snuggling with their owners.
They tend to be highly intelligent and trainable, but can be stubborn at times, requiring patient and consistent training.
Doxiepoos are usually good with other dogs and small animals. This is especially true if they are socialised early. However, they can be cautious around strangers and may need time to feel comfortable.
They often bark a lot and can be very vocal. This makes them alert dogs who will sound the alarm if they see something unusual.
Doxiepoos are quick to notice changes in their environment and will often alert their owners to anything out of the ordinary.

With proper grooming and care, doxiepoos can lead healthy lives, staying happy and well, with a clean and well-maintained coat.
Doxiepoos require regular grooming to prevent matting and tangling of their fur, especially if they have a long or curly coat.
They need to be brushed several times a week, and may require professional grooming every few months to keep their coat in good condition.
Doxiepoos usually shed very little. This makes them a good choice for families with allergies. However, they may still require regular bathing and nail trimming.
They also need regular dental care, including brushing and veterinary check-ups, to prevent potential health issues.
By taking steps to prevent health problems, owners can help their doxiepoo live a happy and healthy life. This way, they can enjoy many years of love and companionship with their pet.
They may also be susceptible to some issues, such as dental problems, which can be prevented with regular dental care and check-ups.
Providing a healthy and balanced diet, and ensuring regular exercise and mental stimulation, can help prevent health problems and ensure a long and healthy life for the doxiepoo.

Training and socialisation are essential for helping your Doxiepoo become a well-mannered and confident companion.
Thanks to their poodle parent, most Doxiepoos are very smart and keen to learn. This makes them one of the easiest dog breeds to train using positive reinforcement.
However, as a mixed breed, they can sometimes inherit a streak of stubbornness from their dachshund side, so patience and consistency are key.
Early socialisation is especially important for shaping your Doxiepoo’s temperament. Introducing your puppy to different people, other dogs, and small animals will help them become friendly and adaptable pets.
Introducing them to various places, sounds, and experiences early can help reduce fear. This can make them feel more comfortable around children and strangers.
Training also plays a role in your Doxiepoo’s long-term health. Teaching your dog not to jump off high furniture or climb stairs excessively can help prevent intervertebral disc disease due to their dachshund heritage. Incorporating mental stimulation through interactive toys and games will keep their intelligent minds engaged and reduce unwanted behaviours.
With the right approach, Doxiepoos can thrive as affectionate, playful companions who bring joy and companionship to their owners. Spending time on training and socialising will help your Doxiepoo become a happy part of the family. They will be ready to share a lifetime of love and fun.
Owners should consult with their veterinarian to determine the best diet for their doxiepoo, and should monitor their dog’s weight and health to ensure they are receiving the nutrients they need.
Doxiepoos require a healthy and balanced diet that meets their nutritional needs, and owners should choose a high-quality dog food that is suitable for their age, size, and activity level.
They may require a diet that is rich in protein and moderate in fat, and owners should avoid overfeeding, as doxiepoos can be prone to obesity.
Treats can be used as positive reinforcement during training sessions and as a supplement to their regular diet, but should always be given in moderation to prevent excessive weight gain.
In conclusion, the Doxiepoo stands out as a delightful mixed breed that brings together the best qualities of its parent breeds—the dachshund and the poodle. With their affectionate personality, playful energy, and low-shedding coat, Doxiepoos are well-suited for families, singles, and anyone seeking a loyal pet. Their unique blend of traits means that every Doxiepoo is special, but all share a love for companionship and a zest for life.
Whether you’re drawn to their intelligence from the poodle or their spirited nature from the dachshund side, Doxiepoos make affectionate, playful companions who quickly become cherished members of the family. With the right care and attention, your Doxiepoo will reward you with endless joy, loyalty, and companionship for years to come.
